Paleo Applesauce

My kids hate applesauce. I don't really know why that is because they both love apples. Come to think of it I don't eat a lot of applesauce myself, but I do use it in other recipes. It is quick and easy to make at home and tastes way better than that store bought nonsense. It is good warm or cold.
You can cook the apples down to a very soft consistency and mash the heck out of them if you like your applesauce to be very smooth, or cook it a little less time and don't mash as much if you like it chunkier. You can adjust the amount of raw honey to add or decrease the sweetness, and even throw a couple dashes of nutmeg in there if you want to get crazy.
I like to use a mixture of different types of apples to create a more complex flavor combination.
