PALEO MOROCCAN CHICKEN

Ingredients:
- 4 lbs. chicken legs and thighs
- 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Juice from 2 large lemons
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 4 tsp. sea salt
- 4 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. ground ginger
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
Equipment:
- Resealable plastic bag
- Small mixing bowl
- Spoon
- Measuring spoons
- Citrus juicer
- Meat thermometer
Directions:
1. Rinse and dry the chicken and place in a resealable plastic bag. Pour in the olive oil and lemon juice, seal the bag and toss to coat.
2. Mix the remaining ingredients together in a small bowl until well combined. Sprinkle into the bag, making sure to coat the chicken evenly. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator and allow to marinate for 6 hours or overnight (longer is better!).
3. Grill the chicken until cooked through (about 30 minutes).
Note: This chicken goes great served with Zucchini Noodles with Avocado Cream Sauce! The light spice of the chicken and the creaminess of the sauce and noodles goes great together.
