Most store-bought ice creams contain refined sugars, oils, soy, preservatives, and other unhealthy ingredients. The Dairy-Free Ice Cream cookbook shows you how to make healthy and delicious desserts that you and your whole family can enjoy. In addition to amazing ice cream recipes, Kelly has included tips for making the perfect ice cream, a history of dairy-free ice cream, as well as recipes for yogurt pops, sorbets, ice cream sandwiches and fun topping ideas!
When I flipped through this book, I was immediately drawn to one AMAZING recipe...
I can't wait to try some of the other amazing flavors like butter pecan, pistachio, blueberry lavender and swiss almond. I am also looking forward to trying out all of the great popsicle recipes like the kiwi apricot mango pops, cherry yogurt ice pops and the chocolate chip banana bread pudding pops (how amazing do those sound??). There's even a recipe for cookie bowls so you can serve your delicious ice cream in a beautiful and edible cup.
The recipes do work best if you use an ice cream maker (this is the one that I have), but if you plan on making your own ice cream at home then it's worth it to buy one because you will save so much money over store-bought versions, and you don't have to worry about all of the unhealthy additives.
If you are as excited about the Dairy-Free Ice Cream cookbook as I am, then grab yourself a copy right away!
